5:46 pm	Social Whirl! Gosh, it's been a while since I tapped anything into this. Probably due to being far to busy with social engagements, many of which involved extremely saucy and deeply satisfying encounters with a certain gentleman (although I'm not sure quite how gentlemanly it is to do *that* to a gal in someone else's lavatory) who shall remain nameless. Fun and frolics at the ancestral seat were rather jolly too! In short, I have popped in to make notes on the above encounters, lest the Bolly and Stolly erode my memory. (Comment on this)

7:57 pm	Pretty in Pink Ah, nothing like a traditional wedding to make one think about relationships, commitment and the long range forcast. Particularly when the assembled throng includes one former lover, one 'wannabe' lover, one near miss/if only/maybe in the future lover and (due to circs beyond our control)an absence of current lover. Mixed feelings? Especially when the well-meaning types try to matchmake, in ignorance of current situation(s). Oh yes my dears, a positive cocktail! Mine's a martini. (Comment on this)

11:45 pm	Having your cake and eating it Is a common 'critisism' of the Poly thing. Well, recently I've learnt that it's actually - Having your cake occasionally, then being told that the cakeshop will be closed on certain days, then told that you can have a bulk delivery of cake at their convenience. Which is all very well but on is not a camel, and one can only take so much jumminess at one go, even with the knowledge of iminent famine Meanwhile, the other cake, (in a more local cakeshop, against who's window you have often pressed your nose in anticipation) becomes temporarily available. However, due to it's concern for the other cake, you can only lick its icing and it will distract you from that by asking about that gateaux you won't be getting until next week. They're all tarts!
